Alone
Alone is not expecting anyone to call. When you're alone you can draw doodles on your wall. Alone is when you turn to your pillow to say goodnight, When you're alone there's no one to fight. You decide what movies you want to see, the clothes to wear, to comb your hair, walk in the rain or spend your money on cab fare. When you're alone your time is your own. You can go upstate, outerstate, your bathroom or sit in the hall. Alone is not expecting anyone to call. You can listen to Bach or Rock or watch a flower grow. When you're alone there is no place you have to go, You can meditate, dream dreams of desire, No one to get on your back, there's nothing you can't hack. You don't have to go to work, can spend the day in the sack, walk naked through your rooms, open the curtain and hang a moon. I hope someone will come soon, I'm running out of ideas. Was that the phone, there's ringing in my ears, Should I answer it or pretend I can't hear, make like no ones at home, "it's your dime" then hang up the phone, I would like to be left Alone.
