Life
It's a sigh of relief
It's teardrops of grief,
It's the end
and the beginning,
It's pride,
It's fear,
It's everything
and anything I hold dear.
It's a pleasure
and a discomfort,
It's the yearning,
burning,
it's desire,
It's searching,
it's the wish,
It's secrets luminous
in stark night
and days light.
It's a glow
and a flow,
It's dim
and confined,
It's a mystery
and a joke
of a prankster's design.
